Exterior Cleaning
Clean the surface area with a damp towel. Use mild cleaning detergent or non-abrasive detergent.
Removal of ash
Check the WC5 periodically to see if the burn chamber needs to be cleaned out from ashes.
Warning!
In order to avoid burns - wait at least 5 hours after the last burn cycle before attempting to remove the ash.
To clean the combustion chamber, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the propane and the power.
2. Take off the chimney cover plate, remove insulation, and disconnect the chimney clamp that connects the chimney with the flue from the WC5
3. Move the WC5 away from the chimney system.
4. Take off the top lid of the WC5.
5. Unscrew two screws on cover plate and remove plate.

6. Disconnect Propane connection inside the WC5 (closest to burner) with use of a ranch. Remove the entire copper propane tube.

7. Disconnect waste hose inside the WC5 by open up two clamps. Pull the hoses until they are disconnected from each other.

8. Disconnect the power cord located inside the WC5.

9. Take out the burn sensor that goes into the burn chamber. Pull it slowly straight up, do not bend.
10. Unscrew three wing nuts on side of the burn chamber.
11. Open up the burn chamber by turning the burner counter clock wise and lift it up from the chamber.
12. Use a wet/dry vacuum, such as ShopVac, to clean up the remaining ash inside the burn chamber. Clean burn sensor if it dusty.
13. When done, assemble the parts back again. Ensure that burn sensor gets placed back to same position. See mark on sensor.
14. Connect the propane and power.
15. Do a leak test to make sure no Propane is leaking.
16. DONE.
